Please read the information below carefully, before entering to the online system:

The content of the abstract must be related to one of the topics listed below. To ensure smooth scoring of papers, the topic of your work must be selected during the submission process

Abstract Regulations

  • Abstracts can only be submitted electronically through the online abstract submission form
  • Acknowledgement of receipt of your submission will be sent to your stated email address. If you do not receive the confirmation email within 48 hours, please contact us at abstracts@waiot2021.com
  • Abstracts must be written in English 
  • Maximum 400 words, excluding title and authors list and affiliations 
  • The font should be Arial with font size 10 while the text should be single space
  • The title of the abstract should be in bold type and should not include evidence of the origin of the abstract
  • The authors' names should be written in bold capital letters. The first name should be followed by the lastname, followed by the exporter's identification number (eg Pit Papas¹)
  • The Hospital should be written in italic lowercase letters. When referring to more than one scientific center, the center and name should be numbered and not symbols (eg ¹Orthopaedic Department, General Hospital Kat, Athens, Greece)
  • The summary should have the following structure:
    Objective (or Aim or Introduction)
    Material & Method
    Results
    Conclusions

The above titles should be in bold and lowercase letters

  • It is the author's responsibility to submit a complete abstract in finalized format. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific facts will be reproduced as typed by the author 
  • Abstracts will only be considered for presentation if they are not published or submitted for presentation elsewhere.
  • The corresponding author receives all information concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing all other co-authors of the status of the abstract.
  • All abstract presenters will be asked to reconfirm their attendance after receiving the notification. If you do not reconfirm your abstract presentation, register and pay the registration fee, your abstract will be removed from the program.
